SAN JOSE, CA – August 22, 2026 – Dreamzilla Inc., a nonprofit empowering neurodivergent people to pursue their passions, cultivate their unique talents, and be their biggest, baddest selves, extends the reach of its annual project scholarships. Their fourth cohort of awardees are tapping into lived experiences to elevate belonging and agency in their own backyards.
In Detroit, Bryanna Story will use Dreamzilla funds to grow Story Community Garden (SCG), a space where neurodivergent individuals can thrive through agricultural and sensory-based learning.
The interactive and visual programming reflects Bryanna’s personal perspective on dyslexia. The result is both a neighborhood food source and therapeutic environment where neurodivergent people can learn and grow.

Dreamzilla receives dozens of applications for support each year. To be considered for an award, projects must be rooted in lived experience, strategic, tangible, and creative. This year, the theme of “for the community, by the community” stood out.
That same approach takes a creative turn in Cincinnati, where Jennifer Purdum plans to elevate homegrown talent through the Fuse-Box A/V’s concert series: Interference Patterns. Jennifer will bring together established artists and local voices through experimental music and a safe, collaborative space for underrepresented artists to take risks.
The series mirrors the meaningful connections that Jennifer, whose ADHD went unidentified until later in life, has found through a neurodivergent community of artists. With Dreamzilla’s support, Jennifer wants to widen the creative circle that has been a source of belonging and inspiration.

Jennifer and Bryanna’s projects show how individual ideas can grow into opportunities for others.
“The board was delighted to see applicants who have the potential to positively impact even more neurodivergent lives through the spaces they have created,” says Ken Loh, Co-Founder and Board Chair. “It’s exciting to see how our program has evolved, and we eagerly anticipate how this year’s recipients will further amplify our mission.”
Since 2023. Dreamzilla has provided 16 awards to neurodivergent individuals representing 11 different states, coast to coast. The organization’s flagship program continues to influence the next generation of its programming.
