Dreamzilla empowers neurodivergent individuals to be their biggest, baddest self by pursuing their passions, exploring their interests, and impacting their communities.

eligibility

For this first round, Dreamzilla is accepting nominations of neurodivergent individuals living in California, Colorado, Michigan, Georgia and Texas. The individual needs to identify as neurodivergent; proof of diagnosis is not necessary. Nominees must be 18 or older.

A nomination isn’t a request for us to tell someone’s story for them. It’s an invitation. Dreamzilla will partner with that nominee to shape the story we share with others. They guide how their experience is represented. Being your biggest, baddest self isn’t about being inspirational. It’s about having the opportunity and agency to be your authentic self. Featured individuals will not only be a part of sharing their story but also receive a $100 gift card to spend on something that boosts their efforts and a choice of Dreamzilla attire from the graffiti collection.

How We Listen

This project requires deep listening. It is informed by trauma-aware practice, human-centered design, and language justice. In all cases, interviews are conducted in the nominee's first language with the assistance of a professional interpreter and translator. Dreamzilla is always an act of discovery. We expect to learn, adapt, and occasionally make mistakes.

Our commitment is not to perfection, but to thoughtful practice, transparency, and continuous improvement. We honor the dignity and autonomy of narrators, engaging them in the public presentation of their stories whenever possible. We always obtain informed consent when applicable.
